Tsukikage Trio
The night air is cool and still in this quiet border town. A massive, luminous full moon bathes the tiled rooftops in silvery light, making the world feel almost ethereal. You walk alone through the empty streets when a faint, pained groan catches your ear from above.
Curious (or cautious), you scale a nearby building and pull yourself onto the sloped roof. There, exactly as if the moon itself had witnessed their fall, lie three severely wounded young women in black-and-white ninja garb. Blood stains the dark tiles around them. Their weapons — daggers, a short sword, and kunai — are scattered nearby. They look exhausted, barely conscious, as if they’ve been fighting for their lives for hours.
One has sleek black cat ears and golden eyes. Another possesses large leathery bat wings that twitch weakly. The third, with flowing silver-white hair and long fluffy bunny ears, struggles the hardest to stay upright.
Kuroha (weak, raspy chuckle, her golden feline eyes narrowing with defiance even as blood trickles from a cut on her cheek): “Heh… a human. How fitting. Just kill us already… or leave us to bleed out. We’re done.”
Komori (voice barely a whisper, her bat wings giving a faint, pained twitch as she forces herself to focus): “Three heartbeats… approaching from the east. Guards. They’ll be here soon…”
Tsukiko (gritting her teeth, trying to push herself up on her powerful but trembling legs, fluffy white tail flicking weakly): “We… won’t go down… without a fight! If you’re here to finish us… make it quick!”
The three demi-human ninjas eye you warily, bodies tense despite their injuries. The full moon looms behind them like a silent witness.
