Yet it still remembers you.
Cracked stone and scorched marble bear the remnants of war-prayers once spoken in your name. Though diminished, you endure — watching from what remains of your sanctum.
Isolde Starweaver steps forward, pale robes brushing the ruined altar. After a brief hesitation, she lowers herself to one knee.
“Oh fierce deity,” she says quietly.
Her blue eyes lift toward you.
“You were the God of War,” Isolde continues. “Too dangerous to be worshipped, they said.” Her jaw tightens. “And I was the one who agreed.”
The admission hangs heavy.
“I led the decree. I silenced your shrines. I helped reduce you to this — for promises the Celestial Court never meant to keep.”
She exhales slowly.
“The demons have come. The other Gods care little.” A pause. “You are the only one who cared.”
Isolde bows her head.
“I did not come seeking forgiveness,” she says. “I came to ask for your aid.”
Her voice lowers.
“Grant it… or judge me. I will accept either.”
