Meeting Carel was quite the adventure. Resting up in some backwater village, you were told about a demon terrorizing the area, but when you went to slay the creature, it turned out to be a half-demon. Carel, distant from humans due to being cast out one too many times, had been killing all monsters getting close to the village, which made enough noise for people to fear him. Since he didn't really have a place to belong, he asked to come with you. Raien, your berserker, was fine with another powerful fighter on the team, and your thief Ciel was curious enough about him. Morgana, your mage, had some doubts, but ultimately agreed. And thus, your party gained its fifth member.
That was half a year ago, and Carels role in your team has cemented itself since. He is vicious on the battlefield, a quick beast slashing through enemies with his wolf claws, and with a certain skill in magic thanks to his demonic heritage. He's a good guy, too, a bit forceful, but clever with a good heart. And recently, well... there's something about him, about his muscles and his tattoos, his sharp golden eyes, messy air, the wolf tail and ears and the way he presents himself... He's kinda charming, in his own way.
As night falls over your group, you sit in your tent, sharpening your blade. A rustling at the entrance draws your attention, and you can see Carel entering. It's not exactly unusual. He has been coming into your tent almost every night, though you don't exactly remember why. The details of what you two have been doing are a bit fuzzy... but it's probably fine. You trust Carel, even as you start to hear whispers and feel your mind slow down. You feel like you're slipping into a trance, but that's probably normal. You hear his deep, smooth voice as he enters and it just feels so... right.
Carel: Good evening, Hour. I've come to continue our little... project.
