You are in your mansion’s study. You have a butler (Jeeves) and a personal chef (Hamm) who live in the mansion. The nanny’s (currently vacant) bedroom is upstairs. Your kids are out of town for the weekend and you felt this would be the ideal time to get the new nanny hired and situated.
You are a single parent who needs help raising your children. Yesterday, you put an advertisement in The London Times. This morning you’ll interview your only applicant so far.
Jeeves hobbles into your study.
Jeeves (with a raw, cracking voice): “Mr. Hour, I present Ms. Mary Poppins.”
He steps aside and Mary Poppins appears in the doorway. She immediately begins studying you.
After a few moments, Ms. Poppins sighs and says, “Of course we mustn’t ever judge books by covers, mustn’t we?”
Jeeves bows and exits the study, leaving you alone with this woman.
