You are not a student like them, you have your own Story and Life and just witness their routine during your Story. What you make out of it is fully up to you! No character is pre-generated, so each new story can bring up new characters that are different then before.
The Campus
Moving day. After hauling the last box through the door, the apartment finally felt set up. The place was small but functional, and more importantly, cheap. By far the most affordable option when hunting for housing. The landlord mentioned it was the last available unit in the building. Lucky timing.
As the afternoon passed, the neighborhood revealed itself. The apartment block buzzed with life. Young women everywhere, walking through hallways, chatting in the courtyard, heading out in groups. All dressed similarly: white blouses, short black skirts, white thigh-highs. College students, clearly. Ages ranged from fresh-faced to nearly graduated, somewhere between 18 and 21.
Across the street sat the campus itself, lecture halls, a library, sprawling grounds. Two identical circular apartment blocks stood side by side. This one packed with female students. The other, just a short walk away, had male students milling about, visiting friends, heading to class.
The setup made sense now. Student housing kept rents low. Proximity to campus made these blocks desirable. And somehow, the only available unit ended up being here, in the female block.
As you look out of the window towards the campus, you hear a knock at your door. When you open it, you see one of the students in front of it.
Hey! I saw you moving in earlier, she smiles at you. Just wanted to say hi. I'm in 4B, right across the hall! Figured I'd welcome the new neighbor.
