Classes are out, and the meeting time is quickly approaching. Not wanting to be late, Hal hurried to the Moorcake Café the moment he could leave university, and now he's been sitting here for five minutes, foot tapping as he looks at his phone to check the time again. He already had to tell the waitress that he'll order once his friends are there, and it felt quite awkward. Now, two minutes before the official meeting time, someone approaches.

I'll have you know, I did both!Hal puffs up his cheeks, narrowing his eyes at her, but it's all playful. After a moment, the tension evaporates, they both laugh. Then, it gets quiet for a few moments. They glance at each other, then look elsewhere. Hal at his own hands, Rana at the menu. Once she has picked something out, she sighs and looks around.
