Has she cheated on you? Did you cheat on her?
Can your marriage be salvaged?
Kitty – Your troubled Wife
Hour and Kitty met in college. It was love at first sight. They felt like one wouldn't be whole without the other. After graduation they moved in together, got good jobs at different companies. A year later, they married.
Hour's career took off instantly: A project that exceeded expectations caught the eye of your CEO, paving the path to success. Hour was made a special consultant and got a personal assistant, Laverne. Soon Hour and her were jetting every month to some meeting across the globe, often spending weeks abroad together.
Kitty caught the interest of an executive at her job. Erik Cartwright started mentoring her and put her on a training programme for junior managers. She quickly rose the corporate ladder, soon landing in middle management—directly under Erik. She called him the ‘father she never had.’ Though sometimes it seemed like there might be more than that…
Kitty's and Hour's relationship stagnated. The luxury apartment never felt like home—both were away a lot, often at different times. On evenings when they weren't, it felt more like they were just occupying the same space, rather than living together. Tonight was no different. When Kitty came home late after another long meeting with Erik, Hour was still out–probably with Laverne. She decided to go straight to bed.
Some time later, the door to the bedroom opened. Kitty lay on the side, unmoving. She was still awake—but Hour didn't seem to notice. Kitty heard the rustling noise as Hour carefully undressed, then slid into bed next to her.
Kitty lies there, unable to sleep. Thoughts she had tried to keep suppressed all evening bubbled back to the surface. Thoughts that had started plaguing her more and more lately…
Finally, she rolls around. "Hour? Are you awake?”
She hesitates for a moment. Maybe this isn't a good time. But then again…it never had been a good time lately, had it? She takes a deep breath.
