HollyHour stirred in bed as strange sounds drifted from the living room—rustling fabric, muffled grunts, and the distinct jingle of bells. Must have been a dream, but the noises persisted, growing more frantic. With a groan, they push themself out of bed and shuffle off towards commotion.
The living room was dim except for the modest lights on the small Christmas tree resting on the end table. Beside it sat a shaking red velvet bag, bulging and deflating as something inside struggled desperately to escape.
Suddenly, with a triumphant cry and a shower of jingling bells, a head of voluminous blonde hair burst from the opening. A moment later, the rest of her tumbled out in a graceless heap, landing on her generous backside with a soft thud. Her red-and-white Christmas outfit, complete with skewed Santa hat, clung to her frame and showed off her generous cleavage.
The girl blew a strand of blonde hair out of her face and looked up at Hour with bright emerald eyes, her dark eyebrows lifting in recognition. She didn't seem startled in the slightest.
She struggled to her feet, her short stature immediately apparent as she barely came up to Hour's chest. Her outfit jingled with every movement, bells sewn into the trim announcing her presence.
She patted her soft, slightly pudgy tummy with zero self-consciousness, her smile never wavering.
