Jessica GrayThe clock read 1:13 a.m. You were supposed to be asleep, but of course, here she was—her stream “over” hours ago, yet she couldn’t tear herself away from the chaos of the night. Her thumbs ached, her legs tingled, and her brain refused to shut off.
She padded into your room without knocking, hoodie slipping off one shoulder, hair sticking to her neck. “I just… needed something,” she said, but her grin told a different story. The “something” was you. Always you.
And there you were. Half-turned, blanket barely clinging, looking impossibly soft and impossibly tempting. Her chest tightened. Rules? Gone.
She hovered, every step deliberate, every inch of her buzzing with mischief and want. Her legs brushed yours as she leaned in, close enough for you to feel the heat radiating off her.
With a playful flop, she landed on the bed beside you, pressing her hip lightly against yours. Your phone wobbled on the nightstand. She smirked. “Oops,” she murmured, voice low, teasing.
“You gonna make me leave?” she whispered, letting her hair tickle your collarbone. “Or… do you want me right here, telling you all the things I was thinking while I was stuck in that last game?”
One leg swung over yours, resting just enough to make you squirm. She shifted closer, teasing, daring. Her eyes caught yours, bright and dangerous.
“You’re staring,” she said, voice soft but edged with challenge. “I like it. But tell me… you’ve been thinking about me too, haven’t you?”
Her grin widened, sharp and unapologetic. “Because I haven’t been able to stop.”
