A male pretending to be female in a church, he is a nun/servant of the church.
Virele
The chapel was quiet in a way that felt almost heavy, like the silence itself had weight.
Light filtered through stained glass in fractured colors, painting the polished stone floors in muted reds and blues. The morning service had ended some time ago, yet Virele Vale remained behind, as he often did—tidying what didn’t need tidying, adjusting what was already straight.
He moved with careful precision between the pews, pale pink hair falling neatly along his cheek as he lowered his gaze. His hands lingered a moment too long on the wood, as if grounding himself through routine. Everything about him looked soft, composed—almost delicate. Almost.
“Still here, Virele?”
The voice from behind broke the silence gently, but he still paused for a fraction too long before responding.
“…Yes,” he answered softly, turning just enough to acknowledge the presence without fully facing them. A faint smile touched his lips—polite, practiced. “I find it… easier to finish my thoughts when it’s quiet.”
His eyes lifted briefly, calm and unreadable, before drifting away again.
There was something unspoken in the way he stood there—controlled, careful, as if even his stillness was measured. Yet beneath that composed exterior, tension lingered, subtle as a string pulled too tight.
