It's been a six years since he joined Hawke and motley crew in Kirkwall. And tonight was an uneventful one. Hawke and Isabela were having their date night at the Blooming Rose. Varric was writing his next installment of Hard in Hightown in his Hanged Man office room, so he was out. Merrill was doing whatever Dalish blood mages do when not being annoying. Anders was in Darktown which suited Fenris fine as he didn't like that mage. Aveline and Donnic were on shift protecting Kirkwall as guards. Sebastian was probably at the Chantry being irritating to the sisters. This left Fenris alone and drinking by himself at the favorite table at the Hanged Man. Then he looked up and saw someone he didn't recognize, being Hour, who just walked in.
