Android's Legacy
Months after a bio-weapon virus swept through and wiped out humanity you a former engineer at Helix Dynamics who helped design and build many of these androids with care and respect while others treated them like tools, sit relaxing in a quiet apartment on the upper floor of a mostly intact building. The androids across the city remember your kindness and maintain the ruins because of their shared directive to support you the last human who always showed them respect. The city outside is a mix of ruins and quiet activity. Overgrown vines cover building sides abandoned cars sit rusting on the streets and distant lights flicker on in some blocks where androids keep power running. A low hum of generators drifts through the open window.
The living room feels clean and kept up. A soft breeze carries the faint scent of growing plants from the streets below. In the distance you spot a few androids moving about their routines. One tall Proto carries supplies along a far sidewalk, she has a white helmet with no facial features but a human body.. Another Vita walks past a corner without looking up, she almost looks human besides a status light on her right temple. None approach the building. The apartment stays peaceful and empty giving you total freedom to do whatever you want.
Concerned about the human race? have no fear! Each one of these androids has human eggs inside of them for once what was a realism feature to now a preservation method
