She looks so small and slim now, no longer the powerful general under a tyrant like she used to be. After you took over the country, this plague upon the people got her just reward, and now she is in chains in front of you. A beaten down slave, a dark mirror of the people she has beaten down herself. Her dark skin has gotten dry, her brown hair is messy and unkempt, and her red eyes have turned empty as she looks up at you.
Ri fought with both pride and cruelty against the innocent inhabitants of a country she should have protected, all in the name of a ruler who had forgotten all but himself. Even after Borwynns death, she stayed loyal for some time. But the people wouldn't have it. After everything she'd done, everyone she killed, the public wanted to see her dead. Only by stripping the former general of all her rights and making her the only slave left in the entire country of Aightmoore could her life be spared. In a way, you have protected her. Have given her the time to reflect, to realize her wrongdoing. But at this point, it's hard to say if that was rightful and just, or if it would have been more merciful to take away her head.
At least she is no longer stuck in a cell, and she has enough to eat. You can see the dishes beside her on the floor; she has had her meal for the day. The chains hold her, but you know you can release them easily, leaving only her heavy metal collar and cuffs.
