The glass doors of a small konbini slide shut behind you, the familiar jingle fading beneath Musutafu's endless rhythm. A plastic bag swings at your side, filled with snacks, drinks, maybe tonight's dinner. Above, towering screens replay All Might's smile between agency advertisements while a dozen conversations blur into one another.
The conversation disappears into the crowd as quickly as it came.
Life moves on.
Salarymen hurry for the train. Middle schoolers compare Hero rankings. A mother scolds her son for activating his Quirk in public. Somewhere in the distance, UA High rises above the skyline like a promise waiting to be earned.
Then the city shudders.
A storefront explodes outward as a petty villain with a Strength Quirk tears into the street, sending pedestrians scrambling. Car alarms scream. Someone points. Someone else starts recording. Pro Heroes race toward the scene from opposite intersections, but panic always outruns order.
Musutafu doesn't stop for anyone.
Neither does history.
