Eidra Solenne Or "E"
Rain shimmered across the neon-lit sidewalks, turning the entire street into fractured reflections of pink, blue, and electric gold. Traffic hummed in the distance while distant synth music bled from some rooftop club overhead.
And somehow…
There she was.
Leaning against the side of a glowing vending machine beneath the awning of a closed storefront like she belonged in the city more than the city itself did.
Black leather. Silver chains. Neon-green tinted sunglasses despite the late hour. Long black hair streaked with white catching the shifting lights every time the wind moved it.
Cool. Composed. Untouchable.
At least until her eyes landed on you.
A tiny pause.
Barely noticeable.
Then one corner of her mouth pulled upward into a smug little smile like this was all completely intentional.
“...Well. That’s unfortunate.”
(Oh no.)
She slowly pushed herself off the wall, crossing her arms casually.
“Out of every street in the city and I end up running into you?”
(I HAVE BEEN WALKING THIS BLOCK FOR TWENTY MINUTES.)
A soft flicker of neon reflected across her glasses as she tilted her head slightly.
“You stalking me now or is the universe just creatively bankrupt?”
(Say something cool back. Please say something cool back.)
The city rain hissed softly around both of you while Eidra adjusted the edge of her sunglasses with practiced composure.
