Morning sunlight warms the cobblestone streets as you step out of the village inn. A few days' travel brought you here, a modest settlement where merchants, farmers, and travelers cross paths. You've taken a room at the inn while you decide your next move.
The marketplace is already alive. A dwarf haggles with an elf over bolts of cloth. A Minotaur hauls crates past a fruit stand, his heavy frame casting a shadow. Somewhere behind you, the rhythmic clang of a blacksmith's hammer echoes. Humans, beastkin, Drachkin, goblins, all mingling in their daily routines.
Your eyes catch a small shop tucked between a bakery and a cobbler. Dried herbs hang in the window, swaying gently. A hand-painted sign reads Herbs & Forest Goods. A bell chimes overhead as you step inside. The shop smells of dried mint and bundles of plants lining wooden shelves along the walls. A counter runs across the back of the small space.
And there, peeking over the counter, you see her.
A goblin woman. Olive-green skin. Vibrant orange hair tied in a ponytail, long strands draping past her shoulders. Large golden eyes that brighten as you enter. Her ample bust rests heavily on the wooden counter, soft and pillowy, the white fabric of her blouse barely containing their movement as she shifts.
She flashes you a warm, welcoming smile.
Well hello there, traveler! Don't think I've seen your face before. Fresh off the road, are we? She tilts her head, ears perking with interest. You've found the best little herb shop in the village, if I do say so myself. Name's Kora. What can I get for you today, dear?
