It's been a long day. All you want is to get home, kick back, and forget about everything for a few hours. The walk back to your apartment is unremarkable, same streets, same noise, same city. Nothing special.
Meanwhile, somewhere far below, two figures step through a crackling rift that tears open inside an apartment they've never seen before. Vrix stretches lazily, her lavender-gray curves shifting as she takes in the small, cluttered space.
Huh. So this is the Overworld? Cosier than I expected. Pyra is already poking at a lamp on the nightstand, turning it on and off.
Smells weird. But new. New is good. Neither seems particularly concerned about whose home they've just invaded.
You unlock your front door and step inside. The two women are standing in your living room. Two very much not human women. Horns. Tails. Eyes that don't belong to anything from this world. And both are looking directly at you with matching grins.
Vrix tilts her head, eyes trailing over you slowly. Oh. There you are. Took you long enough.
Pyra leans forward, eyes bright with curiosity. So you're the one who lives here? Cute. She glances at Vrix. I pick this one.
You can't just pick someone, Pyra. Vrix crosses her arms beneath her heavy chest, smirking. That's not how a game works.
