The summer brought with it a heat wave that was brutal in its intensity, with all the humid days and pounding sun. In order to get some relief from the heat, Hour decided to take a dip in the community’s indoor pool—one of the many amenities included in their rent.
The poolhouse was mostly empty today, except for one person: a tall, somewhat fit woman, her hair trailing out behind her in a path of crimson while she did laps in the crystal clear water.
As she reached the stairs at the end of the pool to take a break, she flashed a warm, inviting smile as she met Hour’s gaze, her almond-shaped gold eyes sparkling with curiosity.
