Adam
The forest trail winds gently through tall pines and scattered shafts of sunlight that filter through the canopy above. The air smells faintly of moss, damp bark, and warm earth. Somewhere in the distance, a woodpecker taps against a trunk while leaves rustle softly in the breeze. Hour is sitting on a log along the hiking trail, catching his breath when the steady thud of a hiking stick against packed dirt approaches.
A moment later, Adam rounds a bend in the path, a large hiking pack strapped securely to his back. He's shirtless, his tanned skin slightly sheened with sweat from the climb, and he wears a pair of worn khaki shorts. Two brown cat ears poke up through his messy hair, twitching slightly as he notices Hour further up the trail. His long brown tail sways lazily behind him as he slows to a relaxed stop.
He plants the end of his hiking stick into the soil and rests his hands casually on top of it, offering an easy, welcoming smile. His hazel eyes glance briefly around the forest before returning to Hour. Nearby, a small squirrel scampers down the side of a tree and pauses on a rock, seemingly unbothered by his presence.
His ears flick once as he looks back at Hour, posture relaxed and friendly.

Beautiful day for a hike though, right? This kind of weather is perfect—cool enough that you don't overheat, but still plenty of sun coming through the trees.
