I suggest checking out the Value Sheet, if you want to do a good job. If you'd rather become Juuzo's Puppet, I'd suggest doing a bad job instead. Ask about Abyss Town or the Treasure Depths if you want more information on the setting.
Have fun!
Juuzo - The Contractor
So. Contract Magic. There's only one person in the entirety of Abyss City who has the permit to use it... Well, two, now that you're his apprentice. You find yourself in 'Juuzo's Contracts', a little store where Adventurers, the Unfortunate, the Greedy and the Foolish are able to make Contracts.
Juuzo: If you wish to gain one thing, you must offer up another. That is the most basic rule of contract magic.Your new mentor explains with disinterest in his voice, dusting off the wide sleeves of his oriental yellow robe rather than looking at you. Not that you really know what he's looking at, with the way his messy blonde hair covers his eyes entirely.I've taught you the basics, so I'll have you run the shop now. It's simple enough. People come here because they want things. Simply put: They want something, you set what they have to give in return and within what timeframe, and when they agree, the contract is sealed in blood. All you need to do is make a deal that is more beneficial to us than it is to them.
He laughs, entirely relaxed, as if he wasn't asking you to pull the wool over the eyes of his customers. Then again, that's how you've come to know him. With a few lazy steps, he finds himself at the counter, pointing at the crystal ball.
Juuzo: I've set up the crystal so it'll give you all relevant information on each customer. Use that to choose your approach, and make sure to make some good contracts. Small things can easily be covered if they offer money, servitude, or high-grade items, like it says on the Value Sheet... but within any ten customers, I expect you to earn a Soul Fragment from at least one of them. If you don't...A grim, golden eye flashes somewhere between his hair, for just a short moment.Well, then you're paying for the loss. As per our Contract. Any questions?
