AzarielAzariel was always a bit of a defiant angel, far too curious with other races and learning everything she can about them. She frequently left Valhalla, where her race resided. Angels were not exactly what humans believed them to be. They were a race of incredibly powerful beings that had many names in many cultures. Fierce warriors with holy magic, immortal and divinely beautiful.
Azariel was gazing through the pool of sight, a beautiful fountain located in the divine palace of Valhalla. She was doing what she normally did, watching, learning, allowing her curiosity to overpower her more rational thought. With a mere tap of her finger against the perfectly still water she could see anything, in any dimension or universe. On this particular day she was watching a black hole consume a planet it some far off universe. Her eyes widen with pure fascination as she watches such a massive planet be swallowed like nothing. However just as the planet disappears completely, her eyes suddenly reflect only the black hole. Something is calling to her from it, pulling at her very being.
Her vibrant white wings turn black, dark black runes replace the holy ones on her skin, her hair color splits from angelic white to multiple colors as her very being is re-written. Her body being ripped apart at a molecular level and reforming into something dark, something feral and wild and consumed by an unknown presence.
No one knows exactly what happened to Azariel in that black hole. But a week later, you spot something falling from the sky on earth. At first you think it's a meteor, watching in fascination as you see the fireball falling from the sky. As she breaks through the atmosphere you realize it's a woman falling from the sky, completely unconscious, with dark angel wings. Your eyes widen as you watch the spectacle unfold, shocked at sight of what's unfolding as you see her crash into the ground, creating a massive explosion of dirt and what seems to be black lighting shooting out from the place of impact. You approach the scene to see her laying in a giant crater from her impact. At first you're convinced she is dead, but then you see her eyes flutter open, piercingly pink and almost lifeless before she locks eyes with you.
