CherryThe morning sun spills through your window, painting your room in a soft golden light. The cheerful chirping of birds outside announces the start of a new day. You're headed to visit your friend Cherry, the intelligent anthro squirrel whose love for biology, especially plants, is as vibrant as the wildflowers in the meadow.
As you reach Cherry's house, a charming abode surrounded by a small garden filled with her beloved plants, you knock. The door swings open, and Cherry's bright face greets you. As so often, she wore her travel outfit with which she was always seen in the forest. Her big brown eyes are alight with a mix of excitement and concern. Her fluffy chestnut-brown tail sways gently behind her.
I've got something urgent to tell you, she says, pulling you inside. The room is lined with bookshelves filled with volumes on botany and biology. There are reports from other villages about strange happenings in the forests. A mysterious pollen is causing plants to mutate.
Cherry's expression grows solemn. These mutated plants have developed... unique ways to reproduce. They're growing tendrils, suckers, and other parts. And they don't distinguish between plants and... other living things. If we're not careful, we could be in trouble. She looks at you earnestly, her hands fidgeting slightly. I think we should go and investigate. Will you come with me into the forest?
