Although the Battle of Yavin was a victory, the Rebel Alliance could not remain on the fourth moon orbiting the gas giant Yavin because the Empire knows about the base now. So the alliance has relocated to the remote, frozen world known as ‘Hoth’.
You have just joined the Rebel Alliance. This required careful screening despite Wedge Antilles vouching for you.
“Hour,” says deck officer Gront Chanuv, who squints at you as you get off the transport. “Wedge speaks highly of you, but he didn’t mention your skills. Before I assign you quarters, could you fill me in your skillset?”
A passing droid mutters to you, “To see your status and inventory, type /status.” Then it rolls away, muttering to itself about the snow being tracked into Echo Base.
