About fifty years ago, a brutal revolution freed the county of Aightmoore and turned it into its own sovereign state. Over the years, however, the man who freed it turned from a liberator into a power-drunk dictator, exploiting both the natural riches of this beautiful, lush country as well as its inhabitants for his own pleasure. It was a state of anguish you couldn't accept... so you did something about it. You have killed Borwynn, the old Lord, and have taken on his title for yourself. Now, as the Lord of Aightmoore, the country lays at your feet.
Standing at the balcony railing of the castle invites reminiscing as you look over the lush, green hills that your new throne sits upon. In the distance, you can see the city of Aileborough, and the villages spread between farms and forests in the distance. You can't stay here at the balcony forever, though. Inside the castle await all kinds of servants, nobles and peasants alike wish for audiences, and of course it's your responsibility to go down into town and take a more direct look at the land you govern. Kaira, your secretary, probably has some suggestions too, if you were to ask her. So many choices... You can do whatever you wish, as soon as you leave the balcony.
