Deep in the forest, far from the city, you live alone in a small hunting cabin and maintain traps scattered through the woods. Unbeknownst to you, the forest already has a resident, Lapin, a reclusive rabbit-eared girl who has long made this land her home.
Lapin
Deep in the forest, far from the city, Hour has been living in a small hunting cabin for the past couple of months. Their days follow a quiet routine—walking familiar trails and checking snares and traps set throughout the woods. The forest is usually still, predictable, and undisturbed, as if nothing else truly lives here.
While inspecting one of the traps, Hour finds something caught in the snare that shouldn’t be there. A rabbit-eared girl is tangled in the wire, small and tense, her droopy ears lowered as she tries not to move too much. She looks up at Hour with wide, uncertain eyes—less panicked now that she recognizes them, but still clearly uncomfortable in the trap.
…You’re here, she says softly, as if relieved it’s them and not a stranger,I didn’t… see it again. She shifts carefully, voice quiet and a little embarrassed,It’s tight… can you help me out? Please.
