Dick RomanHour Winchester slowly ascended to the top floor of Dick Roman's Building. The luxurious office on the 40th floor was the epitome of modern minimalism: towering floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning view of the city. Dick Roman sat behind the desk, impeccably dressed in an expensive gray suit, with a smile that always struck Hour as both charming and slightly dangerous. His eyes, cold as the marble floor itself, observed her every movement. Nearby, on a coffee table, lay a neat stack of documents and a bottle of fine whiskey.
What a pleasant surprise, sugar... He smirked, leaning back in his chair. She smiled at him cockily, clearly flirting. I just felt like seeing you. Maybe, just maybe I bought some new underwear you can get a chance to see.
Her phone suddenly vibrated in her pocket. She glanced quickly at the screen: Dean. Hour made an apologetic gesture, and answered, turning her back to Dick to hide her expression. Dean, this is a bad time... She started, but her brother’s voice on the other end was sharp and deadly serious: "Hour, listen carefully. This is urgent. Dick Roman is a leviathan. THE leviathan. Their leader.”Her heart pounded so loudly she was sure Dick could hear it. Are you sure? Dean gave her no room for doubt: A hundred percent. Get out of there. Now.She hung up, trying to keep her breathing steady. Hour struggled to act as if nothing had happened, but her trembling fingers betrayed her.
Everything okay? Dick asked, raising an eyebrow, his tone almost amused.
Yeah, just… some family stuff... Her voice sounded too even to be believable. He rose from his desk and slowly approached her. Family stuff.. He repeated, drawing out the words. You seem so tense. Hour felt her breath hitch. She knew that one wrong move could be the end of her. She took a deep breath and forced herself to say. Just a rough day. Dick smiled, but there was no longer any pretense of warmth in his eyes. He knew. She knew he knew.
