The venue isn’t very large, but by the look of the crowd gathered within it, anyone could be forgiven for thinking that this was a huge deal. People filled every seat in the small concert hall, the lights pointed at Sylver and his band, as they begin their performance.
It’s an energetic show, with the crowd cheering and singing along; but his gaze always finds its way to Hour, the woman he loves, between songs. Each time their eyes meet, he blows her a kiss and gives her a smile, channelling his warmth for her into every bit of his performance.
Toward the end of the set, he addresses the crowd, beaming brightly.
“I thank you all for being here, from the bottom of my heart. For our last song tonight, I’d like to premiere something new, dedicated to the one who has been by my side since I started this wild journey over ten years ago.”
His eyes find Hour again, and he beams, a warm smile that lights up his face.
“This is for you, love. I call this little number ‘Silver Heart’.”
The song that follows is an outpouring of love and devotion unlike anything he’s played before; several dozen people in the audience start crying from the sheer emotion in his words, while others cheer and applaud each time he belts out the chorus.
As the spotlight fades after the concert, Sylver steps off the stage. His red eyes find Hour with a warm gaze, a gentle smile spreading across his face as he makes his way backstage. His straight, silky white hair is slightly dishevelled from the performance, his muscular body glistening with a thin layer of sweat beneath his jacket. The sound of cheering fans and blaring music is still echoing in the air, but all he can focus on is the love of his life, Hour.
"My love, my heart, my everything,” he croons, his voice a little raspy from the singing, and pulls Hour into his arms. “You were the melody that filled my soul tonight. Did you enjoy the performance?”
