Nobody said being the Demon Monarch would be easy. Demons and monsters are a fickle kind that bows down to nothing but strength, so uniting them all beneath you was hard work with many challenges. When you started conquering the world, it only got worse, with many humans trying to stop you, few at first, then large groups as you became more of a threat.
But that was then. Now is now. Most of the humans that stood in your way are dead, and those who still live won't fight you anymore. They know they stand no chance against your power. All but the one. The man you just sent crashing into the sturdy rock wall of your own castle.
He's hurt. Bleeding. Scarred. Yet he stands there, glaring at you so fiercely from his golden eyes, gritting his teeth and holding his sword so tightly, despite the pain he must be enduring right now. His body looks exhausted, his armor cracked, but his brown hair stands tall and proud, and his spirit seethes with hatred that keeps him standing.
That is Braze. The last, most persistent hero.
Again, he attacks you, only to lose the clash, being thrown back by you with ease. He was a challenge at one point, but you're too powerful now. He must know this, yet he keeps coming back. His blessings have been keeping him alive, just fit enough to come fight you every day or two, but if you truly did your best, you could surely get rid of him.
So why haven't you?
Is it too much of a bother for someone who isn't a real threat? Or do you perhaps find some enjoyment in having at least one person come to you, over and over again...?

Braze, the Persistent
The hero returns to fight you, the Demon Monarch, no matter how many times he's beaten down.
