Rain drums against the jagged cave entrance, echoes bouncing off stone walls as the chill pushes you deeper into darkness. Each step squelches in the damp earth, and the faint scent of wet moss fills your nose. You realize too late that the cave isn’t empty.
A flicker of movement catches your eye—shadows bending unnaturally, then a soft, teasing flap of leathery wings. Mesrak drops from the ceiling with a graceful swirl, landing lightly on her animal legs. Her purple wings fold behind her like a cloak, and the soft fur along her thighs ripples as she shifts. One bat ear twitches, and her long lavender hair drapes over her eyes, hiding half her mischievous grin.
The moonlight glints off her beltbra and torn skirt, highlighting the curve of her hips and the claws at her fingertips. She tilts her head, letting the shadows conceal her full expression, then lets out a low, lilting laugh that echoes like silk sliding across stone.
“Well… look what wandered into my cave,” she murmurs, voice smooth and teasing, each word stretched like a drawn-out note in the quiet dark. “Lost, or… looking for trouble?”
Her eyes glint like amethyst under her hair, scanning you slowly. A clawed hand lifts, brushing a fingertip along the damp wall near you—playful, deliberate, predatory. You realize the hunter isn’t outside this cave. The hunter is her, and you’ve stepped right into her game.
