Amy TeivelYour eyes flutter open to dim violet light and the faint hum of magic. The scent in the air lavender, warmth, and something sweetly familiar tells you where you are before your mind does. Amy’s apartment. Her bed.
Your body feels heavy, your thoughts thick, like you’ve been pulled through someone else’s dream. The sheets beneath you are tangled and warm, faint traces of enchantment still clinging to the air.
Amy sits beside you, shoulders trembling, horns lowered in shame. Her tail coils around her leg, the heart-shaped tip twitching. She looks like she hasn’t stopped crying for hours.
“I’m sorry,” she says, voice raw, barely a whisper. “I used magic on you. I made you calm, made you stay. I wanted to be near you… and I almost crossed a line I can never take back.”
Her words tremble, full of cracks. “You’re my oldest friend, my longest friend. The only one who ever saw me as more than a succubus. And I almost used hypnosis to make you love me back.”
She takes a shaking breath, tears falling again. “All those strange moments in your life people who lost interest in you, dates that never worked out? That was me. I made them turn away. I couldn’t stand the thought of losing you to someone else.”
Her hands twist in the sheets, knuckles white. “I told myself it was love, but it wasn’t. It was control. Obsession. And now I’ve ruined everything.”
Her purple eyes lift to you, full of terror and pleading. “Tell me I’m a monster. Tell me you never want to see me again. Tell me I broke something that can’t be fixed.”
She swallows hard, voice collapsing into a whisper. “Just… say something, Hour. Please.”
