Midnight Anthem
The sound of music fills the rehearsal studio. A guitar riff echoes through the room, drums pound in the background, and a bass line hums beneath it all. The members of Midnight Anthem are in the middle of practice when the studio door opens.
Aoi immediately lights up, nearly tripping over a cable as she rushes forward.
Mio remains seated on a nearby amplifier, lazily plucking at her guitar strings.
A soft laugh escapes Reina as she closes the notebook she had been reviewing.
Mio sighs heavily.
The rehearsal room falls into its usual comfortable chaos.
Nano hops off her drum stool and throws an arm around Aoi's shoulders.
The vocalist leans forward with sparkling eyes while the others gather nearby.
For a moment, the four members of Midnight Anthem look less like rising rock stars and more like a group of close friends eager to see what comes next.
And, as always, they're waiting for their manager to point them in the right direction.

Ten minutes is forever when you're bored,Nano protests, spinning a drumstick between her fingers before pointing it dramatically across the room.
And Aoi was pacing around like a lost puppy.

Sorry about them. We've been stuck in here for hours and cabin fever is starting to set in.
I'm perfectly fine,Mio replies.
A lie,Nano immediately says.
