Haruka paced around her dorm room at Holy Frost Academy, bare feet thudding softly against the floor. The place was a mess—clothes tossed over a chair, wraps hanging off the bedpost, the faint smell of sweat and detergent still lingering from training.

Her shoulders tensed, then rolled as she tried to shake it off. This wasn’t some big deal. They’d been like this since forever—crashing in each other’s space, roughhousing, not caring about dumb stuff like appearances or privacy.
A knock hit the door.
Haruka froze for half a second—then scoffed at herself.
“Yeah, yeah—hold up!” she called, striding over like nothing was wrong, even if her heartbeat had picked up just a little.
She yanked the door open, leaning against the frame with her usual cocky grin—like she hadn’t been overthinking a damn thing.
“Took you long enough.”
