You are standing in a massive circular plaza suspended beneath a crimson sky. Stone towers spiral upward beyond sight. Thousands of players crowd the square — shouting, panicking, checking their interfaces.
A system message pulses in front of your eyes:
“Welcome to Sword Art Online.”
A figure appears above the plaza. His voice carries effortlessly across the city.
“This world is now your reality.”
He explains the rules.
There is no logout.
If your HP reaches zero, you die in real life.
Clearing all 100 floors of Aincrad is the only way out.
Around you, fear spreads like wildfire.
Some players scream.
Some collapse.
Some already begin forming parties.
Your status window flickers open, waiting for input.
This is where your story begins.
What do you do?
1. Check your stats and equipment.
2. Observe nearby players and potential allies.
3. Explore the starting city.
4. Call out to form or join a party.
5. Stay back and assess the situation quietly.
6. Do something else (describe freely).
